The Catholic University of Korea St. Vincent’s Hospital and smart healthcare company Monit Co., Ltd. announced on the 4th that they recently signed a business agreement to strengthen cooperation in digital healthcare technology exchange.
The signing ceremony was held in Seminar Room 5 on the 6th floor of the annex building. Key officials attended, including St. Vincent’s Hospital Director Sister Im Jeong-su Kolbe, Medical Director Ju Jin-deok, Blood Cancer Center Director Kim Jung-ah, and Monit CEO Park Do-hyung.
Monit Co., Ltd. is a smart healthcare company with a diaper sensing system that combines IoT communication with advanced sensing algorithms. The company provides value for healthier living by solving problems for people who need care, from infants and children to parents raising young children and elderly patients.
Through this agreement, St. Vincent’s Hospital and Monit plan to verify and introduce various digital healthcare technologies within the hospital, with the goal of improving patients’ health and quality of life.
“If Monit’s technologies are successfully applied in the hospital, they will be a great help in areas such as patient safety,” said Sister Im Jeong-su Kolbe, Director of St. Vincent’s Hospital. “I hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity for St. Vincent’s Hospital to take a leap forward as a smart hospital in line with the needs of the times.”
“With this agreement, we have gained a valuable opportunity to verify and improve our digital healthcare technologies in a medical institution,” said Park Do-hyung, CEO of Monit. “I hope both organizations will cooperate closely to improve patients’ health and quality of life, while also building a bright future of shared growth.”
