Monit Co., Ltd., an AI and IoT-based smart diaper care solution company led by CEO Park Do-hyung, announced that it participated in GITEX DIGI HEALTH 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in September.
At the event, Monit showcased its MECS PRO solution, which won first place worldwide at the WT WorldCup 2025, and held substantive business discussions with major local medical institutions and distributors.
The event featured the K-Digital Content Pavilion organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). Eight promising Korean digital content companies participated to explore overseas markets, and Monit joined the exhibition as part of this initiative.
MECS PRO is a smart healthcare solution that uses a sensor easily attached to a diaper to monitor excretion and diaper contamination status in real time, while providing diaper-change alerts to guardians and caregivers. By enabling diapers to be changed at the right time, it helps prevent skin diseases and infections. It also reduces caregivers’ workload by eliminating the need to frequently check diapers manually.
In particular, a single tablet can be used to manage multiple patients simultaneously, enabling efficient care in nursing facilities and hospitals. The product won first place at the Wearable Technologies Innovation World Cup 2025, held in Silicon Valley in the United States this year, earning international recognition for its technology and innovation.
During the exhibition, Monit discussed a proof-of-concept project and product adoption in October with Siriraj Hospital, Thailand’s largest medical institution, with the goal of introducing the solution to each ward. It also began exclusive contract discussions with Lee Wattana Health & Med, a major Thai distributor, and confirmed follow-up meetings with Intega to review adoption by hospitals and nursing facilities in Thailand and Singapore.
In addition, Monit broadly discussed sample testing and potential product adoption with officials from various hospitals and nursing facilities in Thailand and Southeast Asia. As a result, the total value of consultations reached approximately USD 1.4 million.
“Through discussions with major medical institutions and distributors in Thailand, we were able to confirm the potential for business expansion in the Asian market,” said Park Do-hyung, CEO of Monit. “Using this exhibition as a springboard, we will strengthen our presence in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian market and lead global innovation in elderly care.”
